▶ The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) is one of the most highly funded and influential fire and emergency services agencies in Asia. Fire trucks in Singapore now come equipped with PVStop as standard equipment. 
▶ PUB Singapore's National Water Agency has tested and evaluated PVStop for use on the 60KW Tengeh Drinking Water Reservoir. ▶ Singapore's National Fire Code has been amended to require "an isolating coating medium" for all PV installations. First time in decades a new extinguisher type has been included in the Code of Practice. 
▶ The Singapore Government is expected to implement the Fire Code amendments in the second half of 2023. Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam are poised to follow Singapore's lead and change their national fire codes. |
